- For several months, the Ammon Employment Services center has been open to assist individuals by appointment only. They’re averaging 39 appointments per month. With the growing number of individuals seeking employment help, the center is now offering limited walk-in hours. Beginning October 22, Employment
Services is open anytime on: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 - 3:00. 2885 East 17th Street, Ammon, Idaho 83406. Enter East side of Deseret Industries, using the same entrance as Family Services. - The Ward is going to start a “Personal Finances for Self-Reliance” class. This class is 11 sessions and will be held on Sunday nights at 7 PM in the Relief Society room. To get a certificate, you need to attend 9 of the 11 classes. Couples, adults, and youth are encouraged to attend. For youth, it is preferred that an adult comes with them, but if the youth are interested, they can come with some other youth or another couple. The discussion will be lead by Fred Downard. I hope you see you there.
- New Introductory Temple and Family History Class will begin Sunday May 5th. The class will be taught only on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, during Sunday Schooltime. If interested, please contact Sister Flegel or Brother Croft. as space is limited.

A one class per topic series, relative to temple and Family History, will be offered to those interested, in the room next to the library, based on the following schedule:

Board Game Night
In a joint effort, the Elders Quorum and Relief Society will be hosting a board game night on the 4th Friday at 7PM each month. Babysitting is not provided. We will meet in the Relief Society room and talk and game. If you just want to socialize, that's okay too! Bring a game, a spouse, a friend, or just come alone--we'll be happy to include you. Primary Substitutes
Our primary teachers need back up for times that they can not be there. We are putting together a list of substitutes who can help out. Please sign up if you are able to help.

Ward ChoirChoir practice is held at 11:30 at Marsha Jone's home (1975 Cabellaro) in 2024. Come and join us for fun, friendship, and spiritual growth as we unite our voices in worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Share Ward Temple NamesJoin the Ammon Fifth Ward Group on FamilySearch to share temple names with others in the ward. Add ten or fewer names at a time to the pool of names available for others to take to the temple. If you need names to take to the temple, select the name(s) from the list. Questions? Idaho Falls Temple Visitor CenterThe Idaho Falls Temple Visitor Center is open from 9 AM to 9 PM daily. Please make an appointment for youth groups of 10 or more. Bring your friends and neighbors to learn why we build and attend temples.
The Idaho Falls Visitor Center also has story time every Tuesday and Thursday at 10AM. |

Temple Recommend InterviewsThe 5th ward bishopric does walk-in temple recommend Interviews on Fast Sundays and third Sundays after the block. No appointment is necessary. If you need a temple recommend interview at another time, please contact John Van Dyck to schedule an appointment.
The stake presidency does walk-in temple recommend interviews on Fast Sundays and the third Sundays of the month from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Stake offices. |
