- Neighborhood BBQ at McCowin Park on Tuesday, September 9 at 6PM. Please bring lawn chairs and blankets, also silverware and plates, A-L Salad type dish to serve 15, M-Z Dessert to serve 15, or both also there is going to be a Dessert Contest judged by Bishopric.
- There will be an American Cross Blood Drive on Thursday September 4th, 1-6 PM at the Ammon Stake Center. To reserve a time, go to www.redcrossblood.org. In the white box type the word AMMON, press enter. Click on MAKE RESERVATION. Select your time.
- The Idaho Falls Family History Center now has a monthly newsletter To sign up for your own copy, please register
online at here. Our goals are to keep you updated about news and events at the center, to provide you with helpful information about researching your own family history, and to help you better understand and use the
FamilySearch program. - Ward Monthly History Days, for your families, will now be on the first Saturday of each month at the Family History Center. Also, the monthly Ward Temple day will now be on the second Thursday of each month. These changes help alleviate conflicts with other organization meetings on the former scheduled days. Please add the new ones to your family calendars. If you have questions, please contact Brother Croft.

Announcements Temple Family History
Board Game Night
In a joint effort, the Elders Quorum and Relief Society will be hosting a board game night on the 4th Friday at 7PM each month. Babysitting is not provided. We will meet in the Relief Society room and talk and game. If you just want to socialize, that's okay too! Bring a game, a spouse, a friend, or just come alone--we'll be happy to include you. Primary Substitutes
Our primary teachers need back up for times that they can not be there. We are putting together a list of substitutes who can help out. Please sign up if you are able to help.

Ward ChoirChoir practice is held at 1:00 at Marsha Jones' home (1975 Cabellaro) in 2025. Come and join us for fun, friendship, and spiritual growth as we unite our voices in worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Lasting and abiding blessings will be yours as your heart and mind are touched by the spirit through music. As the songs repeat in your mind, the strengthening power of music will lift you up long after choir practice is over. All skill levels are welcome. |

Share Ward Temple NamesJoin the Ammon Fifth Ward Group on FamilySearch to share temple names with others in the ward. Add ten or fewer names at a time to the pool of names available for others to take to the temple. If you need names to take to the temple, select the name(s) from the list. Questions? Idaho Falls Temple Visitor CenterThe Idaho Falls Temple Visitor Center is open from 9 AM to 9 PM daily. Please make an appointment for youth groups of 10 or more. Bring your friends and neighbors to learn why we build and attend temples.
The Idaho Falls Visitor Center also has story time every Tuesday and Thursday at 10AM. |

Temple Recommend InterviewsThe 5th ward bishopric does walk-in temple recommend Interviews on Fast Sundays and third Sundays after the block. No appointment is necessary. If you need a temple recommend interview at another time, please contact John Van Dyck to schedule an appointment.
The stake presidency does walk-in temple recommend interviews on Fast Sundays and the third Sundays of the month from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Stake offices. |
